about me

I'm a software engineer at Credit Karma. My days typically involve some combination of designing, developing and maintaining backend services and data pipelines that power and inform a variety of our in-app experiences.

Most of the code I push at work is written in Scala, but I spend much of my free time building in Go and Python. While I love the art of writing clean code, I'm also deeply interested in how large-scale software systems are designed and spend a healthy amount of time reading and learning about their architecture.

When I'm not at my computer, I try to spend ample time in nature. My best days typically involve squeezing my feet into ski boots, but you can also find me running, hiking, and biking around.
